Our interviews are way less dramatic than that premise. Watch them to get to know these lovely people better and get excited to go watch their show!
Oliver Dench: Xander on Pandora
Oliver jumps right in saying his fave scenes were when he gets to drink sarcastically on set. Probably not real alcohol, but who knows?! How he presented it, we truly couldn’t tell if he was being facetious or not, but honestly, it was good either way. You might not realize immediately how into Shakespeare he is, but all the signs are there if you look for them. We should probably warn there’s about three full minutes of Shakespeare nerding out happening in this video. And yes, his great aunt is Dame Judi Dench. THANKFULLY we had no clue about that whilst interviewing him. However, it does explain a few things about him…
Priscilla Quintana: Jax on Pandora
Priscilla speaks with us about what it’s like playing the female protagonist on a series. She explains that she wasn’t quite prepared for the physicality and fight scenes involved with the role, and she accidentally punched her colleague Ben Radcliffe in the face during shooting. We also learned that spaceships are modeled after sharks’ anatomy.
Ben Radcliffe: Ralen on Pandora
Finally we spoke with Ben Radcliffe, no relation to Dan Radcliffe, who plays the alien Ralen on Pandora. He talked about how he got the role via tape, the intensity of the fight scenes, and his varying interests that probably aren’t intense enough to be called obsessions. We asked about getting punched in the face by Priscilla but his repsonse made us wonder if maybe he’d just been punch in the face in real life… you decide. He also was lovely enough (or enough of a sucker?) to do a back handspring on camera for us! Check it out…
Tom Vitale: Executive Producer of Pandora
Tom geeks out with us about all things comic con and SciFi. He reveals he grew up on Lost in Space, but finds Twilight Zone to be the best show ever made. As executive producer on the show, he’s able to give us a little more insight into how and why Pandora got made, and what he hopes people take from it. P.S., if you close your eyes and just listen, he sounds soooo much like Mark Ruffalo.
