It’s with so much bittersweet sadness that we write you one of our last letters today. It’s bitter because we have had the privilege of writing on the internet with hoards of people reading what we had to say for almost eleven years. And through that writing we’ve made the dearest of friends and built a community that we will miss more than we can even express. It’s sweet because we have had (almost) eleven years of internet distraction that has not been without its hard days. And we just aren’t sure what we’re going to do with the extra time on our hands!
But it’s time to move on. While this community has and continues to mean the world to us, life has brought us to a place where we need to concentrate on life outside of That’s Normal. Our business needs us, our families and friends need us, and right now those needs are greater than the ones the internet has for us and our voice here at TN.
This week our community of writers will be bringing you their last words, and we hope you read them, tell them how much you’ve loved their input here at TN and find out where you can continue to find them and their words online. We know we’ll be following along as many of them head off on new writing adventures!
We will be back to close the week on Friday with last letters of our own. Until then, know that we are so grateful for every one of you who has read, commented, subscribed, joined us IRL, lurked and been a part of our online world for the past eleven years.
We love you!
Bekah and Nikki
