Thank You For Helping Me Improve Myself
Thank you to Bekah and Nikki for helping me to make a dream of mine realized. I have always wanted to be a writer but every time I would sit down to write anything, it would always turn into some overly emotional personal essay when really I just wanted to talk about my love of donuts. That’s Normal not only gave me a living platform to fine-tune my writing skills but also gave me the confidence to write about things that I am passionate about and not feel like a total loser for my passions.
Not only have I gotten to improve on my writing skills, something I now do professionally, but I have also met and made some of the best friends I will ever have in my life. People who I consider to an extension of my own family members.
Thank You To The Readers For Being A Part of My Journey
Thank you to every single reader of That’s Normal who has taken the time to get to know me through my writing. Those of you who have liked loved and commented on my posts. I want to say thank you for laughing with me when I spent my mortgage on tattoo art when I covered that auction in New York City. A heartfelt thank you to those of you who cried with me when I wrote about the family separations happening on our southern border.
The time I wrote about how HARD it is being a first-time mom. A reader commented that my post helped her so much because she was a new mom herself and was feeling overwhelmed as well.
To every amazing person who shared my battle with the FDA and helped me to finally get that approval that I so desperately needed, thank you.
Continue To Follow My Journey
That’s Normal was a special place, but you already knew that. When I first found out that That’s Normal was shutting down, I was overwhelmed with the thought of having to find another amazing platform just like this one. But you know what? I’m never going to find another That’s Normal. So, instead of settling for something that’s just not the same, I’ve decided to branch out on my own and start my own blog/vlog.
Blogging and vlogging about the wild ride that is an everyday life feels like the right way to continue forward on my own path.
If you’re interested in staying up to date on all my beauty reviews, learning how to do your makeup for everyday looks, and all the real-life drama that comes with getting a new prosthetic jaw, then follow my journey at LiterallyLaurasLife.com I’ll be vlogging my entire jaw joint replacement surgery and healing process.
I have loved every single second of being a part of this great adventure. I simply cannot wait for you all to see what’s in store for me in the future.
Much Love,
Laura
