Hmm, looks about right. Happily, we don’t have to worry about a world without coffee and what’s the best way to celebrate that? By drinking a shit pot load of it on Sunday, September 29th, aka National Coffee Day. Here at That’s Normal, we run on coffee of all kinds and we hardcore love free things, so let’s do a quick list of places you can get free coffee on Sunday.
Drink Local
First and foremost, peep your local coffee house deals and giveaways on Facebook. We love and support our small local businesses. My local coffee house is running a “buy muffin get a coffee” special. Guess who’s getting herself a muffin? This girl.
Starbucks
Starbucks isn’t doing a freebie this Sunday, but what they are doing is pretty cool. Starbucks recently (Sept. 24th) released a new coffee blend called Siren’s Blend. Read up on what the motivation and inspiration were for this tasty new brew here. For every cup sold of Siren’s Blend from now until the 29th, Starbucks will be donating 15¢ to different causes championing for women in the coffee-growing business. We stan this.
Dunkin’
🗓 Mark your calendars 🗓 The best coffee holiday of the year is coming! ☕ On National Coffee Day, 9.29.19, buy one hot coffee, get another hot coffee free ☕. Of equal or lesser value. Participation may vary. pic.twitter.com/0UY7gGe9G5

Dunkin’ Donuts is serving up a BOGO offer for Sunday. Grab a hot coffee for yourself and one for your BFF and go pick some apples or wear an oversized scarf and pose near a tree. Basically we’re telling you to drink coffee and be basic.
Krispy Kreme
Starbucks giving money to help women get equal on the coffee playing field is super cool, but Krispy Kreme is giving away coffee AND a free doughnut NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Announcing the latest in coffee innovation! Just in time for the #FirstDayOfFall 🍂, Introducing the #OriginalFilled Coffee Kreme Doughnut! ☕🍩 Participating shops & more info at https://t.co/NhQFeQQ8Fv. #KrispyKreme pic.twitter.com/svTe6Eaunk

Tim Horton’s
Use Tim’s mobile app to place your order on Saturday or Sunday and get a reward for a free coffee or baked good! Check out TimHortons.com to download the app and get to drinking and snacking.
Live Love Polish
Ok, this one isn’t a drinkable coffee product, but if you spend over $50 on any order from now until Sunday, you get a free Cold Brew nail polish. Look at how gorgeous that color is! Perfect fall shade! Go snag one while you can.
The Coffee Collection from Midas Cosmetics
Y’all know I am a big fan of makeup and this is an indie brand I have been watching grow itself on social media. This fall-coffee inspired collection of four quad palettes calls to me on every basic level of my basic soul. I admitted my basic-ness way back in 2015 and literally nothing has changed for me since then. Actually, I wrote that post on 9/29/2015. I believe I have now gone full circle and can morph into my final form, an oversized sweater holding a PSL and wearing these eye shadows. These shadows are available now for pre-order and will be released on 10/4/2019.
Reading in the future?
Reading this post in the future and feeling super sad you missed out on all the caffeinated goodness? Worry not friends, we suggest signing up for rewards and downloading apps for your fave places. It’s super annoying to have a bunch of apps on your phone, like the digital equivalent to having a keychain full of store shopper cards, but they do come through with freebies and rewards. I open up my app whilst waiting in the drive-thru line at Starbucks and peek at what I could get for free. Then I disregard that freebie and get the Nitro Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew because it’s so good I would pay three times the amount for it. It’s not too sweet like the PSL and it tastes like Fall.
