Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Hair Mask
Don’t let my gorgeous highlights fool you, I am not a natural blonde (clearly) and that’s ok. I understand the risks of bleaching my super thick and coarse hair. I understand the breakage, the split-ends, and the upkeep. I am a total Paul Mitchell girl but recently I’ve been seeing ads non-stop for Briogeo. All my favorite YouTubers talk about Briogeo like it’s the second coming. So, naturally, I had to try it for myself. I got the Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask and oh my damn. I am in love.
The hair mask doesn’t really have much of a smell to it, which is something as a headache prone person that I can truly appreciate. It also didn’t weigh down my hair which is something that my hair is VERY prone to do. My heavy thick hair can get weighed down so easily that it’s pretty much the reason why I can only use like 4 shampoos and conditioners. After only using this mask once my hair already feels so soft and the ends which admittedly haven’t been trimmed in over a year are so much nicer looking.
Nyx Fill and Fluff Eyebrow Pomade Pencil
Check out my eyebrows in the picture above. They look good if I don’t say so myself. Eyebrows on fleek (I hate myself right now). My brows are actually pretty decent, I didn’t fall prey to the over-plucking trend of the late ’90s. But I do stress pull at my brow hairs so they can be more than a little bit patchy.
I use a spoolie brush to comb my brows out, then take my Nyx pencil and fill them in and give them more of a shape than the straight boring-ass lines I was “blessed” with. The pencil pomade warms up while you’re using it making a malleable product that does a fantastic job of filling in my brows and making me happy.
Bare With Me Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Brow Setter
Another Nyx product, I know, but I genuinely love this brand. They’re super affordable and have a ton of amazing products. This Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Brow Setter sucked me in with claims of conditioning my brows whilst locking them in place for the day. I have dry flakey brows and anything that can add some moisture to them is my new BFF.
I love this product more than my luxury Anatasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel. It works great, I don’t have to worry about my weird long-ass brow hairs going wild throughout the day and the product itself doesn’t get dry and flake off or turn white.
Milk Makeup Cooling Water Stick
I love this Cooling Water stick by Milk Makeup. It’s my go-to to put it under my eyes every single morning product. This product is infused with caffeine to help shrink those under-eye bags and cool off your skin. It feels so good. I sometimes put this under my eyes before I go to bed just because of how much I love the feeling of this guy.
I wake up with wicked bags under my eyes, between not sleeping well and constant allergies making my eyes puffy, I always look puffy and exhausted when I wake up. The Cooling Water stick helps to keep my eyes de-puffed and open. It’s also helping with my crow’s feet and dark under-eye circles. Love this stick so much.
Catrice Lip Treatment
I use the Catrice Lip Treatment every single night before going to bed. I pack on the balm and enjoy soft lips that are ready to go for lipstick the next day. I have chronically chapped lips which is a super bummer. I used to exfoliate with a sugar scrub before applying lipstick every single time. However, this lip treatment has made it so that I only have to break out my sugar scrub once every week or two.
It’s super soft and very nourishing. Even when I pack on a thick layer at night, my lips don’t feel gross or sticky or anything. It perfectly sinks into the skin and keeps my lips soft and not chapped.
There You Have It
Another five beauty products that I can’t live without and you need to add to your collection!
