I don’t know about you, but I feel like I just watched Trump win in 2020 right here. Glib, simplistic lies have a way of drowning out profound, complicated truths, and in a world of social media manipulation, Fox News, and blatant voter suppression I have some unfortunate news for everyone with dreams of #bluewaves sweeping this garbage time into the dustbin of history:
Voting is not Enough
Voting is soooooo important, but the reality of the situation is that in order to just win 51% of the House, Democrats need to win the popular vote by between 7-11%. And that means it’s not enough for us to just be responsible for ourselves, we all need to unleash our inner Superwoman into the universe and turn a bunch more folks out to the polls.

We are headed into the home stretch of this election, and any stress caused by entering the fray will be over in 12 short days! I know you are sick of my harping, but nagging cajoling putting the fear of god into inspiring people to participate is lit-a-ruh-ly my job, so:
On that note, I found another great resource for getting involved, Mobilize America, which easily helps you find all the events in an area by typing in a zipcode! If you don’t have any close races within driving distance, there are also 2 great ways to sign up to phone bank: Indivisible is calling races across the country, and California Counts is focusing on high-stakes Cali races. Superdy-duperdy-easy-peasy! Now get out there!
Campaign Update
Two.Weekends.Left. I just can’t believe that! Last weekend our district had the distinction of knocking the most doors of any House race in the country, and it feels so amazing to have been a part of that!
