While Wednesday is usually reserved just for “Preview Night,” we had parties to attend, and drinks to drink. So let’s get to it, plus tune in below for what we’re looking forward to at Comic-con 2018!
.
Christina Lauren!
It’s wouldn’t be a Comic-con without a little CLo in our lives. We’ve been pals since Twilight, then of course their international best selling books, and even roomed with this gals at Comic-con, so the love runs deep. We got to chat over cocktails about their upcoming books, their movie and tv projects (we can’t wait for them to share all their news!!), and of course Bennett… and Will, and Ansel, and and and and and you get the picture!
Check out their new book (our TN team is already buzzing about it!), Josh and Hazel’s Guide To Not Dating, out September 4, 2018. Pre-order it!

TN’s Instagram Stories!
If you wanna stay on top of all the stuff we’re up to here in San Diego, you really gotta be watching our Instagram Stories, and hopefully once we have a second, we’ll enable them on our Facebook page. If you were following along today you might have seen some gross train behavior, some beautiful scenery, some of us, and Deadpool’s face on a toilet seat cover. Kudos Fox! Follow our IG stories here!
.
Skeet Ulrich and My Hotel Keys
This sounds like the title to the best one-shot fanfic but alas it’s not, but it’s almost that good. After a particularly long (and severely delayed) train trip from LA to San Diego, all I wanted was to check-in and find food. What did they hand us at check-in? RIVERDALE THEMED ROOM KEYS!!!! Hellllllooooo FP JONES! Would it be weird to “lose my key” everyday just to try and collect them all? Do I need an entire set of Riverdale themed hotel room keys in my life?
If Jughead or Archie’s abs are on it, obvi. DUH.
.
They See Me Rollin’
Some scooter company had the bright idea to place rental scooters ALL over the downtown Gaslamp area here in San Diego, which anyone can rent for just a buck and ride them wherever and then just ditch them anywhere. It’s an interesting idea in theory but I’ve already seen nerds riding these the wrong way up a one way street, riding them in between stopped traffic, jumping off curbs, and ditching them in the middle of the sidewalk. Uhhhhh they’re gonna be lucky if no one gets hurt this weekend.
Meanwhile, I’ll be riding this bad boy (if I had any sort of balance).
.
What’s on tap for tomorrow and the rest of the week? Well we’ll be chatting with Deborah Harkness, the author of A Discovery of Witches, Deadpool, the Warner Bros panel, and Riverdale! Is there anything you want us to check out or cover? Let us know in the comments!
