Oh yes, I am rolling on the floor laughing, too. What even is this? He’s so cheeky and meta and perfect and I need him in my life. I feel vindicated from my initial moments of falling in love with Henry back in 2015 (? holy wow that was 3 years ago!) because he was annoyed with the interviewer betraying her own set rules of the emoji codex. Also is he drinking red wine or a shot of espresso in that opening shot?
In small ways this reminds me of Tom and Jessica Chastain’s video promoting Crimson Peak… except unlike Tom who did it for a semi-scripted MTV production, Henry just decided to make this one on his own and use a slideshow app on his phone to put together the final images. I won’t credit him with the text animation, as something tells me Henry is not proficient in After Effects or Cinema 4D or whatever the kids are using these days.
I just love him. And he’s finally super hot again. You know I love a bearded guy, but mustached only is not my style. Bring on the new photoshoots, Henry! We need them in our lives.
