I broke it down into three categories: Up your Cosplay Game, Knickknacks & Home Decor and Nostalgia. The props are on display at the world-famous TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, CA. The first day will feature pieces from Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. On Sunday November 20th, pieces will be on offer from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate SVP, Location Based Entertainment, said of the event: “The Twilight Saga has always been about the passionate fanbase. We know these one of a kind pieces will be valued and cherished as fans and collectors become the trusted caretakers of these cinematic treasures.”
A few things to note, if you want to bid, you have to be registered. You don’t have to be in LA to bid, but highlights from the auction will be on display. Lots can be viewed and bidders can register to participate at: www.twilightsagaauction.com. Some items have reserves, but many pieces start at $50. For the ultimate collector, a lavish two-volume hardcopy catalog of items up for auction is also available. Have your pocket book ready! Pieces like Bella’s engagement ring had a starting bid of $1500 but is already up to $4250!
