“Scrappy Little Nobody lets readers feel like they have spent an afternoon chatting with their closest friend.”

And let me tell you it’s true. Anna may be the almost physical opposite of me, but like many others, I have decided she is my spirit animal. I have followed her on twitter for a while and find we have very similar views about many things, especially Grease Live, red pandas and according to her book, Dwayne Johnson:
Did she know he was going to be 2016 Sexiest Man? Same sister, same!
The Archives
Those of us here at TN know her best as Jessica from Twilight. I went completely old school and pulled up LTT to see if many moons ago we crafted an unintended letter to Anna but I couldn’t find one! or to Jessica! Sure there was a resolution to write more letters to the supporting cast and in 2009? We made Anna’s New Year’s Resolution:
And when the Breaking Dawn trailer came out and it had the Vanity Fair Breakdown treatment, Anna was definitely killing it:
We’ve covered her in Pitch Perfect, loved her in The Last Five Years and no one puts Anna Kendrick at Table 19. Now we all can have a little peek into Anna’s brain, and when you come out on the other end, I’m certain, she’ll be your BFF, your spirit animal and still killing it.
The Book
Scrappy Little Nobody takes us through Anna’s theater childhood, the ins and outs of balancing normal and Hollywood and she does a pretty damn good job at it. Sure she might stay holed up with Seamless or Uber eats deliveries and a Netflix binge, but who of us haven’t done it or wished we could do it.
The book takes us through her Origin Story to big breaks and stylists. To moving to LA to guys in LA and dating. Mention of a pirate party on Catalina that almost sounds made up to a brief chapter on Twilight. Sure, Up in the Air had her nominated for an Oscar, she’s known more for Pitch Perfect and Into the Woods. The opening of the chapter:
For those of you thinking, Wait, she was in Twilight?
We have been with her the whole time. She talks about stories with the cast and the hotel and how the best part was
…I got all the fun with none of the consequences! I got to show up to this mega-franchise for one to three weeks per movie… act like an idiot… and I wasn’t saddled with the creepy super-fame.
The chapter gives those of us needing a little Twi fix a fun behind the scenes look at what happened during Breaking Dawn 1.

Get the Book!
If you’re not lucky enough to have found a copy Anna left in a book drop through the NYC subway system, you can get it from any retailer. And apparently, Target has signed ones.
Oh I signed that shit. I didn’t get a week-long hand cramp for nothing! https://t.co/OwNKdfSc1L
