We Deserve This New Martha Stewart & Snoop Dogg Cooking Show

It’s safe to say that 2016 has been…a lot, and we still have two weeks to go until this godforsaken election is over. Everyone needs a bit of a bright spot, and oh boy do we have one. Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner will premiere on November 7th on VH1, and it is everything missing from the world right now. Watch the trailer below:

I only found out about this show recently, but apparently the Snoop Dogg/Martha Stewart friendship has been a thing for quite a while, starting back when Snoop was a guest on Martha’s old daytime show. Here they are making mashed potatoes. If this video doesn’t make you smile at least once, I don’t want to talk to you.

I know that the last time I made mashed potatoes, I certainly wished that I had a dressed up bottle of cognac to add to them. Who hasn’t?

If two people that are so seemingly different can not only become friends, can’t we all find some kind of common ground and get along? Just look at these brownies.

They’re probably made with cocoa that costs $70 an ounce (because Martha Stewart does not waste her time with subpar cocoa) and there’s a good chance that there’s weed in them because…Snoop Dogg. Combining interests and talents to make something amazing? That’s must see TV.
