Little Ol’ C Hemmy aka Chris Hemsworth on SNL

Hello That’s Normal readers of 2016!!!  It’s been months since I have done a post and you’d think my first one back would be about Tom Hiddleston, but no, it’s not (though I will manage to do a Tom reference later, never fear!). My post is about Chris Hemsworth on Saturday Night Light. Back during the Moby Dick movie promo tour in December, he did this brunch sketch dressed as the girls’ friend “Claire” on SNL, and I laugh every time. (If you’re not in the US, you probably cannot see it due to international IP laws and stuff 🙁 )

Okay, first off, Chris Hemsworth is too pretty. He’s like a perfectly gorgeous female here and not even wearing makeup. Those eyes and those eyelashes? I don’t even know how he makes that happen.  I have seen him in real life once, and WOW. He is just dreamy. It’s wild.

I really love how he pulls down his dress though, that always happens to me when I sit for awhile. And how he has two inch heels on so he’s not “too tall” (cuz he’s 6’2″ already).

But seriously, when he is all, “Am I right, bitches?” and they are all, “We don’t call each other that”, I die. And the “nom nom nom nom” part… so good. And when they say how hot Liam is and he is just “Gag.” <3

Really I just can’t get enough of Chris Hemsworth in drag. He should do those “Shit girls say” videos, but in a Melbourne accent, while walking on the beach… What is your favorite part of this sketch?  I’ve watched it like 100 times and I still can’t decide!

Sidenote: Did anyone actually see Into the Heart of the Sea? I went to a Times Talk with Ron Howard (totally random happenstance where a friend had tickets she couldn’t use–I’m not actually cool or anything, don’t worry!), and he talked about the movie quite a bit, but I still didn’t in particular want to see it.  Apparently Chris and the other actors lose a ton of weight in the second part of it, and Ron said that it was all legit and that they got to the point where they’d be between takes and all the actors would be still mic’d up and they could hear them talking food porn. They were so hungry that was all they could discuss. Pretty intense! And based on a true story, apparently.
