The only other show that can even come close to touching it in the last 21 years is Friday Night Lights and ya’ll know how I feel about that. #TexasForever. I learned so much about myself through Angela Chase and her experiences at Liberty High. My only complaint is that it set a one very unrealistic expectation: when I finally entered high school boys that looked like Jordan Catalano would be leaning against lockers in between classes. This I found to be false, but not much else was. It was probably one of the most original shows of its time, but I often wonder if it did have a second season if I would still remember it as fondly as I do now 21 years later.
In memory of the show that led me to Jordan Catalano, one of my very first celebrity crushes, put on some Buffalo Tom and/or Frozen Embryos sit back and read a few life lessons that still prove to be true twenty one years later.

Is anyone with me on this blast from the past? Do you remember watching marathons on MTV of My So-Called Life every summer? Will you ever be over Jordan Catalano?
