I’m really sorry everyone! Real life is cutting into my blogging time at an alarming rate. I mean the next four Wednesdays I’ll be in an airport and traveling for work, so I’m sorry but these recap posts will probably come on the weekend. Sorry in advance. And as proof as how real life gets in the way? See this great photo from Newsies last week. I had an extra ticket and talked Nikki into joining me!
So I’m going to talk about last weeks episode and this weeks episode together, grouped by couple!
It’s the wedding night and remember our overall caveat, it’s all about the editing in reality TV. Our couples are finally alone for the first time, except for the camera man.
Sean & Davina
Even in the elevator, Sean still goes in for the kiss but there’s a camera man in there!!! Weird so so weird for me!
and Yes, I am a little uncomfortable by their PDA. normally, it doesn’t bother me. but something about this just makes me feel voyeuristic. I know, this is reality tv.
I hold the Lock & You hold the key. Even with awkward pda, I still think Sean and Davina are super cute together. I love how they both went with the lock and key theme.
I can’t even with Sean & Davina during their couples massage… sorry! I feel so sorry for the masseuses who have to listen to them, the cameramen who have to tape this and the viewers who have to watch their ewie-ness!!
But the snow angels were darling. Way to let your guard down and enjoy the moment.
Sean not understanding Davina’s vulnerability on the sleigh ride is scary for her and anyone really. He looked like a deer caught in the headlights not sure what to do!
Ryan & Jessica
These guys seem really wrapped up in the fairy tale of it all. from dinner and acting like lady and the tramp, to opening the generous gifts from friends and family… It’s not what they expected.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen with them.
Ryan and thinking that poking and teasing how little boys show affection is how grown ups should show affection. next thing we know they’ve crashed their jet ski… I wonder if that’s the first or the last thing to crash in this relationship.
Past relationships come up and Jessica has to admit that she was previously engaged. To be honest, I don’t know what the big deal is with that… maybe it’s just me… It is scary when you share what your past is, what debts you have, what skeletons you have in your closet. And then he walks out at dinner, dealing with conflict? this is a little too volitle too quickly over something so little. Let’s hope they can work it out.
Ryan & Jaclyn
I found it interesting that Jaclyn says she doesn’t know how to be someone’s girlfriend, let alone their wife. When her and Ryan kiss, it appears that there is no chemistry, I mean neither of them seem to want it and this too is awkward for me to watch. I had to cover my eyes.
“He makes me laugh, he’s funny, he’s a good guy, those are qualities I couldn’t find before. And those are the qualities I need. I absolutely understand why the experts matched us.” I know we’re all waiting for Jaclyn to come around I think she will. Just give it time.
She said she needs someone to smack her in the face and say what is wrong with you… Jaclyn, here’s a That’ts Normal Smack… What’s wrong with you??? He’s darling!!! Quit Friendzoning him!!!
Is Jaclyn too independent? will she keep her walls up? Or will she finally be vulnerable and allow someone in? Can she get out of the friend-zone and give Ryan a chance? Give the experiment a chance?
Brushing the Teeth!
Holidays are coming up! That’s what we’ll see next week and what happens with Ryan & Jessica!?
What did you think of this and last week’s episodes!?
