Nick Frost Is Actually His Name
Lorena: Who is the actor playing Santa?
Emily: Nick Frost. He and Simon Pegg do a ton of things
Lorena: because when he says the word ‘magic’ he sounds like someone in harry potter
Emily: I’m ashamed of you. You don’t know who he is?
Lorena: 🙁
Emily: Also, isn’t he the guy who Jane Foster has lunch with? Sea Bass Sea Bass Sea Bass guy?
Lorena: Chris O’Dowd? Wait, who’s ashamed of what?
Emily: Oh
Lorena: Also, I had some sea bass the other night and it was just okay. Jane was smart to cut out of that lunch.
Emily: Nevermind, wrong guy. They’re all in Simon Pegg’s End of the World
Lorena: Gotcha. Okay, but someone is actually named Nick Frost and playing Santa?
Emily: Actually, yes 🙂
We’re All Stories in the End
Emily: What is with the elves? And did the sleigh crash?
Lorena: The elves were great! hahaha Sleigh crash?
Emily: At 27 seconds
Lorena: Oh, I see
Emily: Presents strewn about, ornaments smashed, an upturned sled…
Lorena: I genuinely enjoyed the bit where they were all “Your mum and dad? Because they love you so much? It’s a nice story, dear…” “Time to grow up and face reality”
Even this dialogue makes no sense
Emily: what is with the strict ban on hair products?
Lorena: yeah! Like what?
Emily: she needs them!
Lorena: she clearly uses hair products
Emily: Clearly! But maybe just didn’t want them for Christmas, which I can understand.
Put It On a T-Shirt for Emily!
Emily: But I love the part about growing out of Fairy tales – did you? did you really?
Lorena: YES! With the TARDIS noise in the background! The only thing I didn’t love was that Amy Pond’s character growth was centered on that idea…changing her name from Amelia, “Bit fairytale”
Emily: Hm. I don’t remember that in particular.
Lorena: Oh, season 5, episode 1.
Lorena: That line though, “Did you Clara? Did you really?” does things to me!
Emily: Right!
Lorena: Like emotionally intense feelings
Emily: I want that to be my new thing “Did you really?”
Lorena: Said in a deep voice 🙂
Evil Santa, Jaded Whovians
Emily: Is Missy going to be in this?
Lorena: I don’t think so. I think just Santa. My mom thinks he’s going to be evil Santa
Emily: But then why does the Doctor need his help?
Lorena: Enemy of my enemy is my friend?
Emily: yes, and the doctor seems really scared or worried
Lorena: indeed
Emily: what’s at stake? the earth? as always?
Lorena: Christmas!!! Are we calling Doctor Who trite?!!
Emily: :-O haha
Doctors and Their Fruit Fetishes
Lorena: NOBODY LOVES TANGERINES! is possibly my new random shout go-to
Emily: It’s not true. I love tangerines.
Lorena: Me too! The satsumas!!!!
Emily: Satsumas!!!!
Lorena: YES!
Emily: HA! We are so the same person
Basically everyone loves tangerines (and bananas)!
Apples not so much…
