It’s TIME FOR BOOZY BOOK CLUB Y’ALL!!!!

So … TONIGHT AT 10pm EST/9pm CST and … really early sometime on the west coast, we will be google hanging out with all of you to discuss Night Film by Marisha Pessl and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. Among other things. Because we are nothing if not beeches who cannot stay on topic.

 

Speaking of not being able to stay on topic, our good friend Ellie devised a little drinking game for tonight’s festivities. So, if you are cool with being totally loaded on a random Tuesday night for the sake of bookishness, then pull up this list and a shot glass.

 

That’s Normal’s Boozy Bookclub Drinking Game

One Drink

– When someone mentions a physical flaw about themselves

– Someone mentions that the book was scary or suspenseful

– The word “spoiler” is used

 – Whenever someone mentions Beth’s Bookshelf

– For each participant wearing hipster glasses

 

Two Drinks

– Whenever you see one of Bekah’s cats

– If you have never ever heard of the next month’s book club book(s)

– Each time someone mentions how good their drink is

 

 

 

Three Drinks

– Whenever anything related to Outlander is mentioned

 

 

 

 

 

Four Drinks

– If Nikki is wearing crocks

– If Beth is eating a food item normally found in a child’s lunchbox

– If Jamie has to bring everybody back on topic

– If Bekah mentions kale

– If Elise mentions a strip club

Seriously, I hope y’all can all make it to work tomorrow.
