The fourth and final season of The Good Place is premiering September 26, 2019, and we got to sit down with the cast and creators during San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the final season, the journey for the characters and the forkin’ fart jokes.
Kristen Bell and William Jackson Harper Interview
I’m not gonna mince words or hold out on you. Kristen Bell is a delight, and this interview, although short, was immeasurably sweet. She burst into tears discussing the end of the show, not working with the cast anymore. But along with William Jackson Harper, made us realize what a wonderful journey we’ve been taking all this time.
Interview with Mike Schur
Mike Schur (Mose Schrute to those of you who have cared about good TV for a long time now) created The Good Place, and has known since the beginning that it wasn’t meant to last longer than a few seasons. I’m so excited to see how everything is going to end that I’m glad to know that they’ve been planning the ending since season 2.
Interview with Clark Gregg Marc Evan Johnson
Don’t call him Clark Gregg, except it’s totally ok. Marc Evan Johnson, Shawn on The Good Place, is super fun and loves playing the antagonistic eternal being in what’s surely a supernatural workplace comedy.
Manny Jacinto Interview
Jason is adorable and ridiculous, but Manny is perfectly thoughtful and also … a TOTAL SNACK. I wish I could put into words what those arms are like up close, but they belong forever in The Good Place.
