Beth Tweeted yesterday that we should get lost in a thread on a Sunday. And I am never one to ignore an opportunity to not do the things I’m supposed to on my list, so I obliged, and IT WAS AMAZING.

I’m IN LOVE with To Live and Die in LA, which Julie covered for us the other week, and here is a quick run down of the true crime I’ve recently binged:
- In The Dark Seasons 1 and 2: Season 1 is about he kidnapping and murder of an 11 year old boy in 1988, Jacob Wetterling. Season 2 is about a mass murder and the man on death row for the crime who probably didn’t do it.
- Over My Dead Body: is about an ugly divorce that ends in murder. DO NOT GOOGLE THIS TO LEARN MORE. Just listen!
- The Drop Out: It’s the story of the-can’t-look-away MESS of our very own female millennial Bernie Madoff, Elizabeth Holmes and her fraudulent company, Theranos.
But today I want to tell you about an essay from the podcast Modern Love, from The New York Times, that I LOVED:
Ah, To be Old, Male and Single. Read by Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black, Russian Doll), it’s about the love life of the writer’s recently widowed father in Manhattan. It’s charming, so well-written and beautiful!

Nice weather means BBQ time, and you will be a hit if you bring this Mediterranean Orange and Pomegranate Salad to your next outing.
I used a variety of oranges: Navels, Blood Oranges, Some weird looking Mandarins— any citrus will do.
This dish is sweet, savory from the paprika and looks so pretty!

If you’ve seen any Instagrammers redo their bathrooms or kitchens lately, then you’ve definitely seen Fireclay Tile. This company creates tile from sustainable manufacturing practices, uses recycled materials and has addicting Instagram Videos like this:
I actually haven’t touched one of these tiles but I really, really, really want to.
Must Smell
I’m recycling a Must Smell I shared in 2017 because it’s STILL the only candle I want to burn. And guys- in less than 2 years, this candle has gone up $9!!! It’s now $44! So you know it must be good!

Hand poured and packaged in Nashville, TN, this candle smells like the most handsome man is cleaning up rotting leaves on your back patio, or watching you make that blood orange salad, or helping you clean up dead ants that are suddenly all over your kitchen because of the orange juice and pomegranate juice from the dish you made, or other fun Spring activities.
It has 40-50 hour burn time, but you’ll love it so much you’ll burn it sparingly. You save this scent for when your FAVORITE guests are coming over. And they will never forget your home.
