** Spoilers ahead, duh. **
If you’re like me, you cried your eyes out with Brienne was knighted by Jaime Lannister during Sunday’s episode. As SER Brienne stood up, a fully fledged knight of the seven kingdoms, she smiled a perfectly meme-able and gif-able smile. This of course got the internet buzzing about how this probably means Brienne isn’t long for the world of Westeros. So before HBO rips our hearts out on Sunday, I am preemptively celebrating Brienne’s life with a ‘Best Of” all her moments on Game of Thrones, from mooning over Renly Baratheon, to Brimund, and everything Jaime in between.Here we gooooo:
Brienne and Renly
The ultimate intro to Brienne – she wins Renly’s tourney OVER Loras, the Knight of Flowers (and arguably one of the most skilled knights) in hand-to-hand combat, only to remove her helm and reveal herself to be a woman. And what does she want for winning? Just a chance to serve. Yes, this is Brienne in a nutshell. A freak of sorts who only wants to do the right thing. She’s too pure for this world.

Brienne Meets Jaime
So Jaime’s type is: forbidden love meets badass woman. Cause both Cersei and Brienne fall into this category.

Brienne and Jaime in the Hot Tub
This is one of the best scenes in the story – Jaime bruised and beaten, tells Brienne the true story of how and why he earned the name “The King Slayer.” Brienne’s face through this horrific story is captivating and informs her that Jaime isn’t someone to be hated. Gwendoline Christie’s reserved performance as Brienne (throughout the entire series) is bananas.
Plus heeeeeyyy lil nakey moment together, there at the end. (I’m an adult)

Brienne and the Bear (and then Jaime)
Of course Brienne would yell “I will not!” When Jaime tells her to get behind him when a bear is charging. Also this is both of them experiencing the horrors of Ramsey Bolton.
Someone cue “Something There” from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, please!

Brienne and Podrick share their backgrounds and we learn even more about Bri and how she came to be who she is and why she devoted herself to Renly. Ahhh “Brienne the Beauty.”
