Quality time with Nicole & Jacques
To get ready for the season, Netflix invited me to their Holiday Village for an opportunity to try my hand decorating cookies, trying Jacques’ hot cocoa and hanging out with some pretty fun friends. I found out from Nicole that one 30-minute episode takes 13 hours to film! Nicole is darling and I found out some hints on her wardrobe, which is fantastic. She also said that couldn’t bake if her life depended on it.
I got to tell Jacques about about how I ordered his cookies from Goldbelly and had them delivered to work. The man knows his cookies and chocolate! But he loved that he was a part of our meetings and he even was concerned about how the cookies arrived, if they were intact and not broken. He is the holiday elf we need. I asked why he didn’t think more people used the panic button and he was baffled too. He said if they just hit the button at the beginning he would tell them how best to proceed and give them a game plan to start well.
Holiday Wonderland
There were so many fun things to see and do at the holiday village, including marshmallow Wes, Nicole and Jacques. They were on the side of the ice rink and hot chocolate station. Across the way was the cookie decorating station.
At the cookie decorating station, I tackled a Christmas tree and then Nicole Judged my decorating! I’ll let you judge for yourself if I Nailed It or not. But I mean, Nicole judged my skills.
