Bye Bye Baddie
Well, friends, we waited and waited and finally that butterball, Ossie Whitworth, has met his maker. I feel sorry for the horse that had to drag him there! Sadly he didn’t take his mother with him, or any of the pain he inflicted on poor Morwenna. To add insult to injury, Morwenna is once again carrying that monster’s child. I know the news came as shock to Drake, but I wish someone would hug that girl and tell her she’s going to be ok and she is not defiled.
The big question is, how long do we have before they try to hang Drake for his Ossie’s murder? Any chance Rowella and her husband will come forward with the murder weapon before it is too late? I NEED Drake and Morwenna to have a happy ending.
Rossoline
Caroline has spent most of this season, well, pissing me off! I feel bad for what she has been through, but I was glad to finally see her feeling sorry for herself. Ross describing his grief after losing Julia seems to be the thing she needed to open up the well of despair inside of her she was trying to outrun in London.
Do you think Demelza was right when she mentioned Ross and Caroline might make a better match? Ross does have a way with her that Dwight doesn’t quite grasp. Good thing Dwight has Ross around for council. Perhaps a trip to London will be just what Dwight and Caroline need to find their way back to each other. I noticed she didn’t exactly say no to another baby.
Making Acquaintances
“A pleasure to make your acquaintance,” Ross says while shaking the had of the son being raised by his enemy. George would have to be blind to not notice those dark curls. No wonder Elizabeth is doing her best to hide her pregnancy long enough to make it look like this new child comes early too. Now that word is out, did she give herself enough of a window? Or will she have to resort to more drastic measures to hide the truth?
