Younger “Lizability” Highlights: Season 5 Finale

How are you feeling #TeamCharles fans? Satisfied? Confused? Underwhelmed? #TeamJosh fans?! Are you there? Have you revived yourselves from that big reveal? So many storylines wrapped into such a tiny episode, even with the extra minutes. Let’s drink about talk about that Younger season finale!

Well played…WELL PLAYED! You had us all distracted with the whole Malkie wants a baby, Maggie isn’t so sure thing. Then WHAM! Here comes the Irish ex with a belly full of baby. After seeing those eyes brimming with pride during the cacao dream, I think we can all agree that Josh needs to be a daddy. However, Liza is not the answer. In the words of that Eagles song, “Get Over It” dude (he’s probably too young to get this reference). Maggie and Malkie are definitely not the answer, but is Claire the answer? Can she have the baby, leave her (or him) with Josh, and run off back to Ireland? I know, I know. The baby deserves a mother, but WHY HER?

No, it isn’t a daily special at that burger joint run by the Wahlbergs, or that other burger restaurant in California. Fatbergs are real, and they are disgusting. I’m really happy for Diana. I wanted her and Enzo to get a happy ending, but I’m really disappointed that Enzo doesn’t have a sense of humor. You’re a plumber. We all know it isn’t a glamorous job. We all know  Get over yourself. You can’t even laugh about your “duty?”

And so they strolled happily ever after, hand in hand into the sunset…kind of. We all know Charles is not going to sit back quietly and let Quinn run his company, right? But let’s face it, Empirical isn’t riding the struggle bus for no reason. Maybe Charles should let someone else take the reigns. I, for one, am ecstatic that Quinn wants to tell Liza’s story. How long before Quinn shows those claws she wrote about, though?
