Fall Decor
Reports of Halloween decor started months ago (!!!) but I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to holidays, let us celebrate July 4th before the ghosts and pumpkins, please. So, it should come as no shock that last Saturday on the Autumn Equinox aka first day of fall, I sacrificed a virgin witch I began decorating for fall! If you haven’t been to Target yet, they have some amazing items that I may have picked up by the cart full. This black flocked skull also comes in the most delicious ox blood color that I may go back and pick up and MAKE work in my home. They also have tons of pumpkins of all shades, and of course the usual wacky decor like talking candy dishes and shivery skeletons you hang on the door. Oh and Target also already had a whole row in the back of CHRISTMAS DECOR!!! It’s SEPTEMBER GUYS we have TWO holidays to get through before you can pull out the Christmas. GEEZ.

A Local Halloween Themed Activity
I live in Los Angeles so this might be anything from Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland (if I feel like coughing up $99 a ticket on top of my entrance fee), or perhaps something way scarier like the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride or Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios with their new Stranger Things-themed maze. Wanna come hold my hand?

Road Trip!
Source
We usually venture out to apple picking country in Oak Glen to hit up Snowline Orchards and eat sky high apple pies and gallons of cider, but I’m thinking this year we may head in a different direction and take the Pacific Coast Highway drive north for a totally different feeling… ancient red woods in the fall anyone?
.
Baking
I used my oven all of ONE TIME this summer, and now that I don’t need to run my Air Conditioner most days, I can actually turn it on again and get to baking. In my New Year goals, I wanted to take a baking class and really learn more about bread and pastries than Pinterest can teach me. Perhaps Fall 2018 is the season!
.
Fashion
I’ve already bought two new jackets and it’s only September! Can you tell summer in Los Angeles was punishing this year? Beyond jackets it’s seems like corduroy is having a moment again and man, I want a pair of Frye’s moto boots… maybe I’ll finally break down this year and buy a pair. Seems autumnal, right?
.
TV
After a particularly busy summer, I’m excited to cozy up on the couch and jump into a few series. Castle Rock has been on my list since we saw the pilot episode at Comic-con this summer. And it’s creepiness seems perfect for the season. Again, will someone hold my hand? Please?!?!?!?
.
Movies
I’ve got lots of TV to catch up on but I also have TONS of movies to see from Crazy Rich Asians to Oceans 8, and Won’t You Be My Neighbor. But I’m particularly excited about fall movies, since studios usually drop all their awards season contenders and I gotta start thinking about my Oscar Ballot early! We’ve gotta see Bradley Cooper looking all rough and rugged and long haired and Gaga in what critics are already calling a great performance in A Star Is Born! Plus The Hate U Give, First Man, and of course Bohemian Rhapsody. Who wouldn’t want to see Rami Malek in a huge rough trade-esque mustache as Freddie Mercury? No one, that’s who.

So what’s on your Fall Bucket List? Changing Leaves? Carving Pumpkins? Sacrificing virgin witches? Carving pumpkins?
