However, when I saw the first promotional trailer for season eight of American Horror Story, I knew immediately, that I was wrong to give up on it after the violence of Roanoke. So, I watched Cult. It was hard to do. Not only because the season never really grabbed at me, but because it focused so much on a real life situation that isn’t that hard to imagine actually happening. But I watched it and now I am ready for AHS: Apocalypse.
What Do We Know About Season 8?
We know that Murder House and Coven are going to be linked into this season and that right there is amazing enough. We know that Jessica Lange is coming back, for at least one episode, to reprise her role as Constance Langdon. We also know that Sarah Paulson will be coming back as the medium Billie Dean Howard as well. Oh, and Kathy Bates will be joining the Apocalypse as well.
After Roanoke, I promised myself I wouldn’t get sucked so deeply into the AHS universe ever again. But then FX has been releasing about a million (or two) promo videos a day for a month now and I am so ready to be completely obsessed with this season.

And we know that Billie Dean Howard will be making a reappearance, so it’ll be really interesting to see what happens with her story arc.

I am so excited about Apocalypse and I hope that it won’t let me down like Roanoke did or be “too real” like Cult was.
