Eel See You in Manhattan
I’ve said it before, but “mama mia, here I go again!” I am in LOVE with Diana’s love story, and all of the sub-storylines playing a bigger role this season. We all knew Enzo’s mother was going to stir things up in their little love bubble. She should have been honest about not knowing how to cook, but she must REALLY love him to smash in eel brains. That would have been my breaking point. Diana plays along until the bitter end. She put cheese on the eel dish! How could she! Enzo’s mom was clearly waiting for any excuse to prove to her son that Diana is not worthy. Instead, he gets the wake-up call he needed. He’s a late bloomer, but it is time to fly the nest and join Diana’s world. Will Enzo make it without Mommy Dearest around? Does this mean we won’t be getting anymore romantic ferry ride scenes?
Get Inked
I was fine with it. I was blinded by all the #teamcharles glory. Then here comes Josh dropping some wisdom. Secret relationships sound sexy, but are they healthy? Liza sees the flaws in her situation reflected back at her from her daughter’s secret relationship with her professor. No woman should have to sit in the shadows to protect her man’s career. A man should be proud to be with you and want to show you off to the world. Catlin’s professor should not have sent her packing when his career was threatened at the wedding, and Charles shouldn’t have to wait for the right time to acknowledge his relationship with Liza. There will never be a “right time.”
Was this the final straw for Josh? We watch him get the matching tattoo that he shares with Liza covered up. Is Josh finally ready to move on?
