Here’s just some of the newly announced panels that That’s Normal is hoping to squeeze in this SDCC.
Vikings
This year, Vikings is back and invading Ballroom 20. Our own Katy Grace will most likely be there, making you jealous with envy but grateful just to live vicariously through her. Katy, on the other hand, wants a repeat of 2016 and to be this legally close to all the cast:
Brooklyn Nine Nine
Say it with me! “Nine nine!”
Back from cancelation purgatory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine kicks off its new move to NBC by stopping by this year’s Comic Con. Jake Peralta and the Nine-Nine crew make their SDCC debut with a panel discussion that’s sure to be filled with behind the scenes deets and inside jokes about Die Hard, Charles’s accidental inappropriateness, the fight for the title of Amazing Detective/Human/Genius, and Terry’s love of yogurt.
Terry loves his yogurt.
Deadpool
This time last year, Nik and I saw that 20th Century Fox would hold a Hall H panel for its films, which made us both whisper scream to each other, “DEADPOOL.” Alas, our whisper scream was nothing more than wind, and Deadpool didn’t grace us with his presence at SDCC 2017.
But somehow, Fox heard our whisper scream and decided that we needed more of Ryan Reynolds in spandex. Fox is bringing the Merc with the Mouth to Hall H just in time for Deadpool 2 to hit a blu-ray near you. While it’s being promoted as a DVD promotion, I suspect we’re going to get a little taste of Deadpool’s future – and perhaps an announcement or two of X-Force or even more X-Men films.
At this point, Ryan Reynolds could show up and do a theater reader’s performance of The Green Lantern, and we would all win.
