Ya. That doesn’t actually happen.
In reality, bedtimes are a frantic scramble to get small children into pajamas they don’t want to wear then into a bed they don’t want to go to at a time they think is to early because they “aren’t tired.”
Mommy IS tired. Mommy needs a break. And a glass of wine.
The Brits have come up with a genius way to sooth the wee little ones while we grown ups prepare our evening beverage. CBeebies will read soothing bedtime stories to your kids on TV (or Youtube, for those of us who live outside the UK). It’s hands free parenting at its finest.
At first glance, it’s adorable and sweet and geared toward the munchkins.
But dig a little deeper… CBeebies is really for the grown ups. It’s the nighttime routine we need – preferably without kids.
