Top 6 Reasons to Watch Jessica Jones Season 2

When season 2 of Jessica Jones premiered on Netflix March 8th I was crazy busy. However, watching was a definite priority as it’s the best of the Marvel series on Netflix, surpassing Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Okay, everything surpasses Iron Fist, but still. Make sure you’ve watched Season 1 first or you will be super confused. Here are the top 6 reasons you need to watch Jessica Jones Season 2.

1. Explanations

It has, until now, remained a mystery how Jessica suddenly developed super strength after being the sole survivor of the car crash that killed her family. Through flashbacks and investigations into new mysteries, we get Jessica’s origin story and many questions answered.

2. Trish’s Crazy Spiral

Things get a little cray cray in Trish’s world. Not that life hasn’t already thrown her some curve balls, what with her controlling and entitled momager (Rebecca De Mornay) and being besties with a super powered alcoholic. We also get this jewel from Trish’s past!

3. The Men of Jessica Jones

Welcome to J.R. Ramirez as Oscar, Jessica’s hot new building super. There will be smolder, there will be sexiness involving paint.

Jessica’s neighbor Malcolm, played by Eka Darville, returns for Season 2. Now clean and sober, Malcolm works for Jessica’s PI business. We see a whole lot more of Malcolm this season.

4. Evidence Jeri has a Heart

Attorney, Jeri Hogarth, shows her human side in Season 2. Just for a minute though, so don’t blink y’all. Jeri reaches a new low by this season’s end.

“What? He’s dead. We saw him die.” Don’t worry, they’re not jumping the shark yet. I won’t explain, just watch.
