Lara Jean is Definitely My Lover
I was a little late to the game on reading this book, but it worked in my favor since P.S. I Still Love You was already out, and Always and Forever, Lara Jean was just about to hit shelves – that’s how you avoid a book hangover people. The main character, Lara Jean is pretty close to how I was in high school. She’s a little too responsible, enjoys baking more than partying, and she doesn’t think her life is that exciting – until it is. I can’t wait to see this story come to life on screen, and I’m crossing my fingers that the rest of the series will be heading there too.
So who will be bringing these characters to life? Let’s break it down.
Lara Jean Covey
Played by: Lana Condor
You can check her out in: X-Men Apocalypse or Patriot’s Day
Lana Condor is adorable. Judging from this photo, I think she will be the perfect Lara Jean.
Peter Kavinsky
Played by: Noah Centineo
You can check him out in: The Fosters, Camilla Cabello’s Havana music video
Sup, Peter?
Margot Covey
Played By: Janel Parrish
You can check her out in: Pretty Little Liars
Kitty Covey
Played By: Anna Cathcart
You can check her out in: Descendents 2
This girl is adorable. As the youngest of 3 sisters, I am a Kitty – kind of weird and annoying, but they have to love you.
Sisters – I like to believe they were fighting before and after this photo was taken, because that’s how sisterhood works
Papa Covey
Played by: John Corbett
You can check him out in: My Big Fat Greek Wedding! And many other things, but that’s the most important one, IMO
Personally, I don’t want to see my dad with his shirt that unbuttoned by John Corbett can work it.
Josh Sanderson
Played by: Israel Broussard
You can check him out in: The Bling Ring, Happy Death Day (which was surprisingly good FYI)
I get why Lara Jean has a thing for him.
Chris(tine)
Played by: Madeleine Arthur
You can check her out in: The Magicians
John Ambrose McClaren
Played by: Jordan Burtchett
You can check him out in: The Killing, Supernatural
Um, Lara Jean is going to have some tough choices with these guys…
I’m loving the look of all these cute kids. I can see them filling the shoes of these characters. Only a couple more months and we can see how they do! For now, I’ll leave you with this last picture to spark your interest…
