Meet Randy Rainbow (and yes, that is his real name), internet sensation, writer, comedian, and so much more. He started out on Youtube making hilarious fake phone calls and is now providing my Broadway loving heart the political parody music it needs to get through this administration.
Remember that shit show Kim Davis? You know, the County Clerk in Kentucky who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples looking to tie the knot. Well, that terrible lady is how I first came into contact with the fabulous Randy Rainbow. I was cruising around on youtube, watching some coverage and reactions on the whole Kim Davis debacle, when a suggested video popped up. It called to me in so many ways. First, it was a parody video and who doesn’t love those? Second, it was from Chicago, one of my favorite musicals. Third, it featured a dude who wears lipstick better than me. I. Was. Sold.
But, like all things internet, I watched this video fell in love and then moved on with my life. That is until the Presidential debates this fall. That’s when I became obsessed again with Randy Rainbow.

First of all, anything from Book of Mormon is enough for me to fall in love, but this is just amazing. Donald Trump lying? WHAAAAA???

It was really hard for me to choose my number one video, but then Randy released this video and it wasn’t so hard anymore. Because, as scary as it is, it’s true. They’ve got buttons.
