The hardest part of this whole thing was picking a limited number of prizes as there was so much cool stuff to choose from. And I don’t want all my research to go to waste, so if you’re looking for an excellent Christmas present for the Potterhead in your life, I’ve got you covered!
Pins from Ideal Bookshelf, $11
These enamel pins are gorgeous. I would know, because I have the Order of the Phoenix pin courtesy of my best friend who is an amazing gift giver and never forgets the little details, like which HP book is your favorite. I have it on one of my book bags and I get compliments on it ALL THE TIME!
Houseblend candles from The Bookish Flame, $7
Bookish candles are everywhere these days, but Jennifer, the owner of The Bookish Flame put a cute twist on Hogwarts Houses that I’m flipping out over. She offers “house blend” candles, like the one featured above. I’ve been getting more into the idea of house blends, and am definitely starting to feel like a Slytherclaw! She even has cute poems that go along with the candles, explaining the traits of each house blend. I, obviously, could not resist this purchase! It also helps that all these candles smell incredible!
Mini Bagpack from Hollyvander’s, $52.50
I am obsessed with this Hogwarts Express mini backpack from Hollyvander’s. If you’ve never checked out her shop, don’t go in unwarned. Everything there is ridiculously beautiful and it’ll take you ten seconds to convince yourself you need everything. This has been particularly hard for me to resist as I love carrying small backpacks. I’m hoping I find this one under my Christmas tree this year!
Bookmarks from Little Inklings Design, Set of 10 for $13.04
Little Inklings Design is an adorable shop that sells bookmarks, prints, cards, etc. I love the bookmarks, I love all the bookmarks, and they are on sale for Christmas! There are a bunch of adorable holiday themed bookmarks as well if you’re looking for something slightly outside the HP world (GASP)!
Bath Bombs from This and That by Mama J, $4
I found Mama J’s Etsy shop completely by chance, but she sells these amazing Sorting Hat bath bombs! She let’s you either choose your house or be surprised. I’m electing to be surprised because I believe in the powers of the universe and no matter which house I get I will be convinced that it’s telling me something deep and meaningful about my life. I’ll keep you posted.
Art Prints from Window Shop Gal, $18.50 (and up, depending on size)
These art prints are stunning, there is no other word for it. I love the one of Hogsmeade featured above, but there are there is another one that features the Yule Ball that is so creative and beautiful! Come to think of it, everything in this shop is creative and beautiful. And fair warning, if you love Gilmore Girls and Parks and Rec, there will be no shortage of things for you to love!
Bracelet from Love and Buttons Shop, $4.82
Finally, this wish bracelet is the coolest. The holiday season is really difficult for some people, myself included, and we could all use a little extra hope and joy. This wish bracelet is a great reminder of one of the core principles of Harry Potter, that darkness can be found, even in the darkest of times. So I encourage you to send these little bracelets out into the world to people you think might need a little extra reminder this holiday season. And the best part is that when the thread wears thin and the bracelet falls off, your wish comes true! Let’s all make Christmas wishes together and share in the joy, warmth, and happiness that the holiday season brings.
Happy Holidays and Happy Reading!
Always.
