Sam Heughan aka Sam Heugham?

It’s a Monday Morning. If you haven’t yet noticed, we have a pattern around here on TN. I kick off the week with an 8 am Monday morning post each and every week. The rest of our regularly scheduled team have their own time slot, but I kick us off. I’d like to say that’s because my writing is the strongest, funniest, overall best and why would you not to start the week with a heavy hitter like me? But that would not be true. I kick off the week because I’m the only sucker who hasn’t yet asked to change posting dates because I have to write each and every Sunday night. (Also I’m a sucker who co-owns the website, so asking someone to take the WORST time of the week to write would be mean!)

I used to love writing on Sunday nights. I was refreshed from a long weekend, the creative juices were flowing and I reveled in the pressure of needing something AWESOME to come to me before bedtime. But these days, I’m exhausted Sunday nights. Once dinner is cleaned up, my lists for the week are made, the last thing I have are creative juices. Confession: The only posts I’ve been proud of in the last year, were the ones I wrote in advance, prior to my Sunday night-writing time.

I want something great, guys! I want to tell you about this awesome new book I just finished that you MUST read. But I’ve struggled with my reading this year. I could tell you about the 4 new podcasts I’ve finished, but I do that all the time (The Uncertain Hour Seasons 1 & 2, Deadly Hallows, A Killing on the Cape, The Butterfly Effect). I’d love to show you a hot new guy from a new film I saw, gosh darn it!

But I’ve got nothing like that.

What I DO have for you to kick off this 2nd full week of December is a few comments from our favorite new You Tube commenter (He hits us on the blog from time to time, as well), and the corresponding convo that happened in our Outlander team chat as a result.
