Taylor Swift’s Reputation

There has been a lot of talk lately about Taylor Swift with the release of Reputation last Friday. People either love it, hate it, think 1989 was significantly better, think Taylor peaked at “You Belong to Me”, think Red was her only critical success, wonder whatever Tom Hiddleston ever saw in her, think Tom Hiddleston peaked at TSwift or a myriad of other VERY STRONG opinions.

All the while Taylor Swift is laughing all the way to the bank as she dominates the pop culture news, her face is plastered on UPS trucks in every neighborhood across America and her voice rings out on every pop radio station every 10-15 songs in rotation.

Love her or Hate her, Taylor Swift WINS every time. And still….. she’s called ‘crazy’ and ‘dramatic.’

You might love one or all of them. I feel you, girl.. why love a celeb if there isn’t a bit crazy, right?

You might think Taylor Swift’s drama and innocent girl act is all too much or not enough or just right. You’re probably right (all of those opinions).

I think it’s over the top. I’m here for it. I think it’s calculated. I think it’s brilliant. I think it’s too much. I think she’s been famous since she was 16, and she could be as crazy as one of the above mentioned celebs. I think Reputation is somewhere in between Red and Speak Now. I can’t stop listening to it. But I’ll probably listen to 1989 again in a few days to remind myself of how good that one was.

I’m here for Taylor Swift all day long. Good girl, bad girl, calculated girl. Whatever. Keeping entertaining me.
