Despite the widespread scorn from most self-appointed film critics, the movie series based on the books has proven to be a massive smash with the first two movies managing to gross nearly one billion dollars at the box office between them.
So this is why we’re thrilled to see how a recently released trailer is giving us a sneak peak into the next and final Fifty Shades movie – Fifty Shades Freed.
Although the film won’t be released until Valentine’s Day 2018, it’s looking like it could be the best yet as Ana Steele and Christian Grey attempt to follow up their engagement with some more outrageous action on their double bed, despite the sinister ending of the previous movie in the series – Fifty Shades Darker.
The upcoming movie is expected to have a very similar feel to the last movie as they were shot at the same time by the same director, James Foley. And whilst it is unlikely to counteract some of the negative reviews suffered by the previous installment of the series, it will certainly provide plenty more doses of steamy romance and intense melodrama.
The chemistry between the movies’ main stars, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, is something that has provided all of us with plenty of inspiration. Whilst most of us are used to using a double bed from a company like Bedstar for a little relaxation or even catching some sleep, it seems that this love struck duo enjoyed a touch more creativity in the bedroom!
Although this did a great job of offending some of the more prudish critics, it was clear that this gave more open-minded movie fans plenty of lust-fueled drama to enjoy. Whilst romantic movies like La La Land were undoubtedly heartwarming, it’s nice to find a romantic films like the Fifty Shades franchise that are unafraid to go a little further.
And with an excellent cast featuring hunks like Luke Grimes, Tyler Hoechlin and endlessly stylish Jamie Dornan, it’ll give us plenty to look forward to after we’ve enjoyed seeing Chris Hemsworth channelling his inner Norse god in the Thor: Ragnarok movie!
And even though this is meant to be the last movie in this franchise, there’s comfort in the rumors that we might be getting a Grey movie that is based on the last book in the series very soon!
