On Set With Outlander: Caitriona Balfe on time traveling, sleep and female sensibilities

in Outlander on 09/23/17 by Nikki Leave a Comment

While we spend an awful lot of our Outlander coverage on the merits of Tobias Menzies hot DGAF attitude and Sam’s earnestness and how much we want the TV adaptation to be AH-mazing, we clearly know Caitriona Balfe’s Claire Randall Fraser is the real reason we’re here. Claire is our narrator, our hero, our barometer and anchor. Without Claire, we have no Outlander… unless it’s a story about Frank time traveling to Jamie and them falling in love and well, that’s a totally different story but someone please send us that fanfic link to our email. KTHANKS.

We got the chance to sit down with Cait on the season 3 set of her Boston kitchen in Outlander (humble brag alert) to chat about modern female sensibilities vs some of the storylines, sleeping and of course what we can expect!

How cozy are we just looking at her sweater?

Get ready to get REAL, REAL with this week’s episode of Outlander with plenty of Claire and Frank marriage realness and we’ll see you on Monday at HangOutlander to dish on it all.
