And now the season finale is near and so we face the final curtain. My friends, I’ll say it clear, The White Princess is one of Starz’s best shows, for which I’m certain! Ok, I’ll give us this bad song parody and just tell you I’m sad to say we’re at the end of The White Princess tonight with the season finale. Between the family drama, the political intrigue and the all around strong female-led cast, I’m going to miss this show when the finale curtain falls and I KNOW I’m not the only one because of the group texts, emails and Tweets I get every week. I know this might be sacrilegious around these parts but dare I say… The White Princess just might be better than Outlander?SHHHHhhhh, stop with the gnashing of teeth, I still love Jamie and Claire and will be bringing you plenty of fun stuff this fall from the set BUUUUTTT The White Princess has been the surprise spring show we didn’t know we needed. With the thoughtful performances, the moms hell-bent on success and the chemistry between Lizzie and Henry, The White Princess was deftly executed unraveled each week with aplomb, thanks to the creators and producer Emma Frost. Though, EVERYONE I mentioned above with talked with me about the show agrees, we could have all used a bit more Henry and Lizzie sizzle. STOP DENYING US!!! Trust me, no one would have been angry with a few more kisses or longing looks or even a few homeruns ifyouknowwhatimsayin’.
