The gods have finally smiled on us. You can now drape Ricky Whittle across your torso, any day of the week.
American Gods is a veritable juggernaut of television amazingism, and now you can get merch to show off your love of it.
“There has been so much excitement and anticipation for American Gods that we wanted to offer our fan base a collection of product in celebration of the first season,” said Andrea Brent, Senior Vice President of Licensing & Franchise Management, FremantleMedia North America. “An expanded offering is currently in development and will be available in 2018 to support the recently announced second season.”
That’s right. Second season!!! Yes, it was officially announced last week, and less officially confirmed before it even aired, but I still can’t decide which news I’m more excited about: official merch or season #2.
BUT WHERE DO I SPEND MY MONEY, BETH?
Good question. Right now, what’s available for fans are limited edition graphic tees from Represent. Cast members are helping design shirts to support their favorite charities. Each weekend through the rest of the season a new character tee and corresponding charity will be revealed.
Currently, Ricky Whittle’s Shadow Moon tee is available at www.represent.com/shadowmoon, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Love is Louder. The next American Gods limited edition tee will feature Yetide Badaki’s Bilquis character and will be unveiled on Sunday, May 21st on Represent.

But go ahead and bookmark Ripple Junction, which will have a line of men’s and women’s graphic tees for specialty retailers, and Dark Horse Deluxe, who publish the American Gods graphic novels, and will have a host of novelty and collectible products including a sculpted coin replica, as well as a pint glass set and shot glass set commemorating the infamous watering hole of the Gods, Jack’s Crocodile Bar. Also, look for wall calendars from Rizzoli in 2018 and posters and bookmarks from Trends.
But real fans aren’t here for posters and a few t-shirts. We want Funko figures, action figures and behind-the-scenes hard cover books. All that’s coming too.
The official American Gods online store is scheduled to launch in June and will initially feature limited edition, curated product bundles. The bundles will include both products developed by Brand Access, as well as other officially licensed merchandise.
