Taken - A Clockwork Swiss recap

Christina is approached by another some what suspect Associate Attorney General with disastrous news. The financial stability of the United States is in peril and only her team can save the country! But wait! Don’t tell the president. Because if she does, the AAG will spill the beans about the questionable tactics of her covert team specifically, leaving the bullet ridden corpse of a high ranking government official on a park bench in broad daylight. Christina agrees to the blackmail and send her team to Zurich to intercept a package. The drop goes bad and somebody dies.

Meanwhile, Asha returns home to a newly secure front door and the still overly friendly neighbour, Elena. Elena’s accomplice makes it into Asha’s home and steals her security codes. Want to bet that Asha is the next one to get “Taken”?

Back in Zurich, Mills and team attempt to save the mission by robbing a safety deposit box in a bank of the missing package. Again, things go south when they are “Taken” at gun point by the guy that they took at gun point. Ironic. And John talks a bullet to the stomach. But thanks to the geek squad back home and some fancy driving, the heroes escape.

Remember that very important package? Turns out, the AAG was up to some extramarital shenanigans and it was all caught on tape. Yes, the AAG used a highly trained covert team to get a hold of a sex tape that would have cost him his marriage and, most likely, his career. Not the thing that one would expect to bring down the American economy.

Best Character Back Story

Rem might win for the best and most eclectic character backstory of all time. Not only is he a former bank robber, which comes in handy when he is needed to break into a super secure Swiss bank, but also an amateur magician and rodeo rider. Totally random.

Queen

Jennifer Beals continues to impress as Christina. The scene where she dresses down the AAG for putting her team at risk all for his own personal purposes was absolutely outstanding. Don’t mess with her or her team.

BrAsha

The heat continues to rise between Bryan and Asha, or BrAsha, as they shall now be known. Their chemistry sizzles. And I am here for it. Just one tiny problem, Elena and crew have planted a camera in Bryan’s apartment in an attempt to find out where Meijia is being held. They got quite the eye full of BrAsha’s sexcapades.

Rather than enjoying some post coital cuddles, Bryan uses the afterglow time to check in on the live feed to Mejia’s cell. Really Bryan? That is your first thought after sex? We need to talk.
