First These Things Happened
Something else I’m thankful for? Maggie is alive and so is her baby. My heart couldn’t get any happier about that. Sasha and Maggie made it safely to the Hill Top group and were successful in getting Maggie to the doctor there. YAY!

While the women visit the graves of their lost loves, they meet up with Jesus and the leader of the Hill Topper’s, Gregory. Gregory proceeds to call Maggie, “Marcia” and tells her she needs to leave. Which is very inconvenient considering their doctor just told her she needed to stay there for on-going prenatal care. Gregory gets angry with Sasha for burying Abraham and Glenn. He seems confused about the fact that Sasha is not one of his people. Which just goes to show you how out of touch he is with his people.
Whether it’s a passive aggressive power ploy or sheer stupidity, Gregory insists on calling Maggie and Rick by the wrong name and continues to believe that Sasha is one of his people. Either way, Gregory is a douche.

Then These Things Happened
Meanwhile, back in Alexandria, we see Michonne still not fully behind the “we work for Negan now” bandwagon. Carl practicing his dart throwing skills (keep working on it buddy), and Enid sneaking out of Alexandria, again. Carl swears he isn’t going to stop her or go after her this time. We could only be so lucky. I’m over Enid and her sad emo ways. I think the theory that she’s secretly working for Negan has merit.
Enid takes off (YAY!) and of course Carl goes after her (BOO!). They head to the Hill Top group because Enid wants to see Maggie. On the way there, they roller skate and hold hands. Because apparently, we’re watching that kind of a show now.

Maggie and Sasha get woken up in the middle of the night to loud music, an open front gate, and fires burning throughout the Hill Top camp. Maggie takes charge and with the help of Sasha and Jesus, crushes the car with a giant tractor, thus stopping the music.

The next day the Saviors visit Hill Top. Paul is the leader of this group and he truly enjoys fucking with Gregory. Maggie and Sasha hide from the Saviors, but Gregory tries to sell them out. Sadly for him, Jesus switched our ladies with a box of scotch. May to Gregory’s dismay Paul takes the whole box of scotch and half of everything they have.

Don’t feel too bad for Gregory. He’s a total douche who took Glenn’s pocket watch off of his grave. After Paul and his group leave, Maggie punches Gregory in the face and takes back the pocket watch. Maggie, Sasha, and Jesus then inform him that the ladies are staying and will be working with Jesus to help lead the Hill Toppers.

Carl and Enid make it to Hill Top and Enid goes into the camp, seemingly unbeknownst to the Saviors pillaging the place. Pretty fishy, huh? Carl talks about hitching a ride to Negan’s place to take him out. Sounds like a good idea, right?
Finally, We Ended With This
At the end of this episode, we watch as Jesus parkours his way into the back of the Saviors truck and he starts pouring out the scotch they took. If anyone was shocked to see Carl sitting in that truck as well, you should just leave now. That kid is NEVER going to stay in the house. Rick should just expect him to be in the worst places possible.
What I want from next week:
- Enid to just go away
- Carl to be safe, because, for some strange reason, I like that little shithead.
- Darryl to be OK.
- Carol and Morgan
