I admired everything about this story line, from Demelza’s calm acceptance to Ross’s self-deprecating smirk as he told Pascoe: “It was pretty straight forward. We sold pretty much everything we own.”
Caroline, I totally thought you were faking it. And Dwight, you might be a good doctor, but you’re a fool when it comes to pretty women. Do you think this is going to end well? High Society Miss isn’t going to want to be a country doctor’s wife.
Me to Shawn: “I want to go there. To that beach.”
Shawn: “We can, you know.”
Me: “Let’s book flights!”
Uh, it’s about time. Now, boys, can you team up and take down George? Please?
Oh, heck no! Seriously? I don’t care what existential crisis you’re going through, Ross. (And grant you, you’ve been going through a lot.) Screwing Elizabeth will ruin everything. Walk away!
