But when host Jeremy Clarkson got into an actual fight with his producer, he was let go from Top Gear. Instead of limping along without him, co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May decided to leave with Clarkson. Lucky for us Amazon snatched our trio up and put them into a whole new show. Or did they?
Amazon released the very first trailer for their new show The Grand Tour, and I can’t help but notice how much like Top Gear it really looks.

Yeah. It looks like it’s going to pretty much be the same show. BUT is that a bad thing?
Top Gear with Clarkson, Hammond, and May was such a GOOD show. It was hilarious, ridiculous, and globally loved. So why can’t The Grand Tour be the same way? I honestly could care less if TGT is shot frame for frame exactly like the way TG was. I wasn’t ready for TG with the dynamic trio to be over with in the first place, so if I can get the same show or better from Amazon, I’ll happily stream it on my TV.
If Jame Corden’s “‘The Grand Tour’ Grand Racing Quiz” is anything to go by, the host’s relationship hasn’t changed a bit from their days on TG, and that’s a good thing.
