Let’s talk about Comic-con fashion… no, not cosplay (though we do that too) but what you’ll be wearing day to day!
During the day…
Rompers can be cute, but let’s be honest, unless you’ll only be in it for a few hours and have forsaken ALL liquids, you don’t want to be in a fabric body prison when you have to use a gross public bathroom. Let me introduce you to the options…
Topshop’s MOTO Selvedge Pinafore Dress
Welcome to the dress I want to wear everyday. Imagine it styled MUCH cuter, shirt underneath (stripes, comic themed, whatever), or with a colorful bralette (ha) or a pale tank top. This baby can dress up or down, paired with sandals, comfy trainers or flats. Bonus: POCKETS!!
Madewell’s Summit Culotte Overall
I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect culotte overall and Madewell’s is about as close as I’ve come. If you see something like this our in your searching… TELL ME! The beauty of this is that it’s comfy, looks pulled together. There’s almost nothing worse that feeling like a sweaty slug in a tshirt while staring at amazing actors. Feeling a tad pulled together helps that feeling A LOT. This also pairs well with the season’s other hottest look, the off the shoulder “Bardot” top (love this Topshop version). Which is hilarious for ladies with larger chests (HI!), so wear something supportive!
Target’s Star Wars Sith Tshirt
Cause… DUH.
At Night!
Night time at Comic-con = party time! Whether out for drinks with friends or at an invite-only studio or network bash, you simply have to bring a few outfits just in cases.
Storee’s Scallop Plunge Romper
Remember what I said about romper’s up there? Well, sometime’s rules are meant to be broken. Especially with it’s this romper with a SCALLOP EDGE. I love a scallop and this beautiful color. Gotta pee? Hold it till you’re back at your hotel.
Topshop’s (at Nordstrom) Floral Print Belted Wrap Dress
The key to Con fashion is wear stuff that doesn’t really touch your body. It’s usually 800 degrees in San Diego that week for some reason and the last thing you want is something clingy that doesn’t breathe. Enter, this awesome floral dress that again, can be dressed up or down. This would be awesome with some platform sandals, espadrilles or a denim jacket if it actually cooled down. If you can’t afford those awesome dresses from Reformation, this is a great knock off.
On Your Face
ATTCL® 2016 Vintage Fashion Round Arrow Style Wayfarer
You gotta have sunglasses, it’s blazing hot, sunny and sometimes you need to hide your eyes if you’re checking our dudes, or a super weird cosplay/outfit walking towards you.
Womens Cateye Retro Fashion Retro Round Lens Cat Eye Sunglasses
Helllooooo gorgeous!
On Your Feet
Sperry’s Seaside Fashion Sneaker
I love a slip-on and I love that these are perforated and in cute colors (lime, coral, white, black). These are both fashionable and comfortable for walking ALLLLL those blocks to and from the Convention Hall.
Mia Renata Flat Sandal
The Pom Pom Sandal design seems to be all the rage this summer but I can’t figure out if I like it, on one hand I love the flair, the color, the style… on the other hand do these look like I’m a gypsy who’s clipped all her treasures to her sandals?
Under Your Arms
Might I point you to my post about deodorant? No, really…

Your bag…
Scarleton Chic Casual Backpack H1608
You gotta be able to hold stuff (phone chargers, business cards, swag, a lock of Sam Hueghan’s hair, whatever!), so a cute mini backpack (this one’s a steal!) is just what the Doctor (Strange) ordered. The only other solution? A cross-body!
Marc by Marc Jacobs Too Hot To Handle
Get on my body you cute little bucket of ice blue!
