Summer Music Dance Party! What’s on your Playlist?

In a few weeks I am in charge of the logistics for my company meeting. They have decided they want a DJ and a dance floor as we overlook San Francisco Bay. I’m putting together a playlist for the DJ and need suggestions.

I’m kinda stuck on this song, because I just can’t stop… Justin Timberlake knows what he’s doing and I’m going Dance Dance Dance.

I really can’t stop… my boss walked by my office and saw me bouncing in my chair. She opened the door and heard the song and asked what I was doing. I said technically, I’m working, but I’m also having a solo-dance party. She shut the door and joined me as we took four minutes to forget about work and dance around my office. #bestbossever

Taking Requests

The DJ has a site we can submit requests but I’m not sure I can trust my coworkers. Some have good tast and I’ve got a list that include dance classics like YMCA and the Bee Gees to Uptown Funk and Pitbull… BUT Someone has added Wannabe by the Spice Girls and even a little Rick Astley. I asked for a ban on Justin Beiber but my “Bieber-veto-power” was itself vetoed. What songs am I missing? What is your summer song that you just can’t stop dancing too? Remember, the songs need to reach across the generation gap and they should be songs that it’s okay to dance with your coworkers.
