In case you missed the news, That’s Normal is on Snapchat! If you aren’t familiar with Snapchat, nows the time to get up to date. I am pretty sure it was created for the sole purpose of sending naked pictures to your bootycall loved one, so naturally I thought, this is the perfect format to share my thoughts of the show weekly! If you are still on the fence or still aren’t quite sure how Snapchat works (it took me an embarrasingly long time to figure it all out) here’s a real quick snap recap.
All of our tears go to the crazy old timey lady
The season opened with one of the most gut wrenching scenes of the series. After Oldie McLennon Glasses finds a random old timey woman walking down the street aggressively demanding to know historical facts we all collapse in a heap of tears just like Claire did.
Side note: if a crazy person ever yelled at me and demanded to know who won a certain historical battle I would be of no help to either of us.
Je m’appelle Snaplander
I really think the new images and part of the theme song in French was a really nice touch. I am sure by the end of the season we will all claim to be fluent in Outlander French, as of now I only know curse words and how to count to 10, even though I took two years of it in high school.
All Apologies
I am assuming that Claire is wearing Kurt Cobain’s iconic sweater because she has no other clothes thus is wearing one of Frank’s sweaters.
If Frank thinks her old timey clothes are worth money, he should check out how much that sweater sold for at auction.
Shy Jamie
About a year and a half ago I got the worst hair cut and color from my local Ulta Salon so I can really sympathize with Jamie. Don’t worry Sam I looked like Shy Ronnie for about a week and I made it through that dark time, so will you.
The Tale of two Bae’s
Listen tortured Jamie isn’t winning him Bae status as of yet, however, Happy Frank and Comte St. Germain (now and forever more to be known as Villain Bae) are my life right now.
Hope to see you guys on Snapchat on Saturday night for episode 2 “Not in Scotland Anymore”. I am sure I will find some sort of Wizard of Oz pun to spice things up. Who here wants more Villain Bae and less tortured Jamie this week?
