Outlander Season 2 Finally Has a Brianna!

in on 01/28/16 by Beth 62 Comments

The long, arduous, torturous, horrible wait is finally over, Outlander fans! Brianna has been cast! Starz announced today that Sophie Skelton will play Jamie and Claire’s adult daughter in season 2.

Meet Sophie Skelton

If you’re the kind of person who only cares about her real life details in order to make your determination on whether or not she can play Bree, Sophie is 5’8″ and naturally brunette. Manage your expectations, lassies. She’s also beautiful and looks good in period clothing (which is really the only thing you Negative Nellys can tell so far without having seen her, yanno, ACT).

But thanks to streaming services and show reels, here’s a look at that.

I expect her online series, Ren, to get some serious Outlander-fan based traction.

But here’s the only thing you were really worried about:

Fraser Family Face Mashup: Achievement Unlocked. I buy it.

I don’t know what color her eyes are, but … let’s just not even start, aye? Instead let’s focus our attention on whether or not she’s falling in love IRL with Rik Rankin! What should the shipper name be? Sophik? Rikphie? “Who’s your Da?”

What do you think of Sophie as Brianna? What can Outlander fans bug the showrunners about now?
