Kendra has a several stalker(s)
Cisco’s new lady-love has some baggage that she didn’t even know about. A super creepy dude named Vandal Savage has been hunting her down and he’s finally found her. The Flash shows up just in time to save the day but it’s clear that Kendra is far from safe. Cisco and Barry take her to Star City for safekeeping.

Of course, Savage follows them to Star City, causes a right ruckus there but is prevented from succeeding (again) by the combined efforts of both teams. While Kendra is processing the possibility that she could in fact be a reincarnated priestess (with wings), a man with wings shows up and plucks her off the street.

He introduces himself as Carter Hall and tries to explain who he is but Oliver and Barry arrive to rescue Kendra before any progress on that front can be made. He’s kind of hot, not gonna lie.
[source]
Using good old fashioned teamwork, Barry and Oliver are able to subdue Carter and they bring him to the Lair 3.0 where he explains that he and Kendra are reincarnated lovers who have been killed by Vandal Savage 206 times over the last 4000 years and that he’s there to protect her. Its… a lot to take in.

Thanks to some coaching from Barry, Kendra is able to embrace her inner-hawk-ness which is good because I have a feeling she’s going to need it for the next part airing tomorrow night!

Olicity are adorable yet again
The Flash did a fantastic job of establishing the love story of Oliver and Felicity in this episode, for those who might not be familiar with the goings on over in Arrow land. There was adorable bantering over the comms to start with (where Oliver called her honey and I think I almost passed out). When the crew from The Flash arrived, there was some couple-y touching both in the Lair 3.0 and back at Oliver and Felicity’s loft, where they invited everyone over for drinks.

We had forehead kisses and flirty looks and Oliver explaining to Barry how being with Felicity has him feeling at peace for the first time in a very, very long time. Later, when Barry and Oliver charge off to confront Savage, Oliver gives Felicity a sweet goodbye kiss and hearts pitter pat all around.

How is it that we got the shippiest moments for Olicity in a Flash episode??
Vandal Savage isn’t a nice guy
We learn in this episode that Savage isn’t just your run of the mill Bad of the Week. He’s an immortal, who draws his power from killing Hawkman and Hawkgirl every time they are reincarnated throughout history.
[source]
He is on the hunt, not just for Hawkgirl, but for a relic known as the Staff of Horus. Apparently, if he gets his hands on it, it will make him nearly unbeatable.
Of course, he gets his hands on it.

Wells and his Super Serum
[source]
The Central City plot was rather thin. It involved Wells and Caitlin wanting to find a way to help boost Barry’s speed, since he’s nowhere near up to the speed he used to be at before his run-in with Zoom a few weeks ago. Wells has a serum that he wants to test out on Jay Garrick first. The other man says heck no, until he needs to use it in order to help save Wells’ life later on when Barry’s semi-girlfriend shoots him thinking he’s the Evil Wells from last year. So the serum works, but Jay cautions Wells and Caitlin from using it on Barry. Which, of course, means they’ll use it on Barry.

Broship alive and well
Barry and Oliver’s broship is alive and well. Barry doesn’t think twice about going to Oliver and Team Arrow for help. There’s a whole “mi casa, su casa” vibe going on the entire hour. Oliver opens up to Barry about how Felicity completes him. Barry’s supersuit has a cozy home in Oliver’s fancy new lair. Plus, I’m pretty sure Barry carried Oliver all the way from Star City to Central City (and then saved his bacon when Savage exploded the cathedral they were confronting him in).

Can you say AWWWW???

Babymama Drama
This was the moment that a good number of Arrow fans have been dreading… while in Central City, enjoying a coffee at Jitters with Barry, Oliver runs into a young boy. He sees the child run back to his mother who is the very woman he’d impregnated all those years ago (back before the island). She’d told him she miscarried, after being paid off by Moira to leave town. By the look on Oliver’s face, he figures out pretty quick that this child could very well be his.
[source]
I fully expect this will play out in tomorrow night’s Arrow episode. How this all shakes out, for Oliver, for his relationship with Felicity, for babymama herself (does she have a name?)… is anyone’s guess at this point.

Tune in tomorrow night for the rest of this crossover. See our heroes try to defeat Savage, see the Hawkpeople come into their own, see this babymama drama play out. See me get super drunk in order to deal with all the feels that will undoubtedly result from all of this!
