Who do we have to thank for these hot guys in our lives?

I was doing a little thinking the other day. About Twilight. As one does from time to time. And it got me thinking about Rob Pattinson. Which led me on a rabbit trail of memories of past good times with attractive men in Hollywood. By “Good times” I don’t mean WITH the men! I mean reading magazines and looking at their pictures online, obviously. And I remembered back to the days before we knew of certain leading men who often grace the internet pages here at That’s Normal. Which led me to ask:

Who do we have to thank for these guys in our lives?

The answers might surprise you. But the probably won’t.

Robert Pattinson

Easy. If Stephenie Meyer hadn’t written Twilight, Rob wouldn’t have been Edward Cullen

and would forever be known as that cute guy in Harry Potter who Cho Chan gets to kiss (that bitch) and dies.

Don’t get me wrong, Harry Potter was huge, but he filmed it 3 years before Twilight. It did not bring him immediate fame. Maybe it got him his audition, but he was doing NOTHING when he was “Found” for Twilight. So, we’ll give JK Rowling 25% responsibility and 75% to Stephenie Meyer

So Stephenie Meyer gets 45% credit here! And one can argue Twilight was taken on because of Harry Potter’s success so… we’ll give JK Rowling another 15% credit…!

Christian Grey (will see you now…) was based on Stephenie Meyer’s Edward Cullen.

Without Stephenie’s Edward Cullen we have no EL James’ Christian Grey. And JK Rowling’s Harry Potter paved the way for studio’s giving YA books a chance so……

60% Stephenie, 30% EL James, 10% JK Rowling.

You didn’t think I would forget about ol’ Aaron Tveit did you? Of course not.

And I know you think you’ve figured out my “pattern” right? I’m basically attributing ONE woman (and 25% of another) to these hot celebrities.

And that’s not possible with Aaron Tveit. Not at all. He’s from Broadway

He’s on a lame USA show. There is absolutely, zero connection to Stephenie Meyer and Twilight.

Aaron Tveit was in Les Mis with Amanda Seyfriend who was in Red Riding Hood directed by Catherine Hardwicke who directed the first Twilight movie.
