How we take a 10 Minute Break… at Comic Con

in on 07/10/15 by Bekah 3 Comments

Ah Comic Con: We love every single minute of the shit-show that you are. If you’ve never been to San Diego Comic Con, that is an understatement. From the 15 minute walk from our hotel to the convention center, to the extra 15-20 minutes it takes to cross the major road in FRONT of the con, to the lines to do ANYTHING once inside (Bathroom: 10 minutes; Coffee: 45 minutes in the morning; Hall H: Good luck! That booth signing with that Comic illustrator you love- you’re on time until you learn the booth is on the OTHER side of the convention hall- 30 minutes later when you finally arrive, the signing is over.) It’s never more important during Comic Con week than to take a 15-30 minute cat nap, if you can (cat ears optional, but suggested).

As you know, we’ve been sharing great products from International Delight this year with the idea of the 10 minute break. Whether that is a break from your work day, a break from your busy weekending or a break from the crazy waiting-around-in-lines of Comic Con, International Delight is encouraging you to say #IDelightin10. And we think that’s pretty important at Comic Con- 10 minutes can mean the difference in seeing Kit Harrington in the FLESH or being outside sweaty in the sun next to some nerd just dressed like him!

We took one of International Delight’s delicious Light Coffees (They have that! And it tastes GREAT) around on the convention floor and asked a few Comic Con attendees you might recognize what THEY do to Delight in 10 Minutes!

Arrow says if he had 10 minutes he would spend it with Felicity #Olicity

snow white

With her 10 minute break, Hipster Snow White likes to sip her iced coffee out of a mason jar with 7 of her closest friends. (She’s not a height-ist)

spiderman

Spiderman spends his 10 minute break contemplates WHICH is his true love: Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane.

ariel-coffee

Hipster Ariel would stare at her collection of thingamabobs. She’s got 20! (More than you….)

marty-mcfly

With a 10 minute break, gender-bent Marty McFly would reset the DeLorean to give herself an extra 10 minute break! (Editors note: personally we find this a waste of energy for the flux capacitor)

effie

Effie Trinket spends her 10 minute break daydreaming about a world with perfectly behaved tributes.

thor loki

Thor would fly to Asgard with his 10 minute break while gender-bent Loki would spend time plotting her next scheme.

aurora

Hipster Sleeping Beauty would have told us how she likes to spend her 10 minute break, but she was napping…

doc brown

Doc Brown usually spends 10 minutes a day trying to remember what he’s supposed to be doing during that 10 minutes.

belle-coffee

Hipster Belle obviously would be reading her advanced copy of the next Game of Thrones book on her 10 minute break. She already knows the fate of Jon Snow, guys. No big deal.
