That’s right: it’s Father’s Day.
Now, I could give you a list of suggestions for gifts for dear old Dad (or young but who am I to judge). So here’s my suggestion: give him a gift card to __________________________ (Put in any establishment you want. Chances are, it will be a success.) and some time alone. And then congratulate yourself on an awesome Father’s Day.
Or…I could give you a list of who I think are the Hottest Dads RIGHT NOW. I like that better because we all win if I do that and chances are, you won’t ask for a gift receipt.
Celebrating the Hot Dads of Father’s Day
Chris Pratt
Oh, Chris Pratt.
One second you’re Andy Dwyer, running into parked cars and singing a eulogy about Lil’ Sebastian on Parks and Recreation. The next, you’re saving either the galaxy or people from getting ripped apart by raptors. Also, you have really, really amazing abs. Well, done sir. Well done indeed.

But what makes me love Chris Pratt with each passing second is his adoration for his son, Jack.

Whether it is playing airplane, cheering on the Seahawks, or teaching him the Pledge of Allegiance, Chris Pratt the Dad is probably his best role yet.

Jamie Dornan
Sure, he played a sadistic psychopath whose uncontrollable urges lead him down a dark path. And then there’s his role in The Fall. I kid. Sorta.
But Christian Grey makes a fantastic dad. Okay, Jamie Dornan makes a fantastic dad. Christian Grey makes a cautionary tale to warn your daughters about.
Dulcie Dornan’s daddy made some women swoon and stock up on handcuffs and poorly written erotica as S&M dominant Edward Cullen Christian Grey, while other women ran straight to a self defense class. However, it is Daddy Dornan (and I don’t mean that daddy, pervs) that made many a hearts flutter and wish for their own wee little lassie with the actor.
And the best part: He loves changing poopy diapers.
“Weirdly, I get enjoyment out of changing a nappy. I find it such a levelling thing. I don’t mind getting up in the middle of the night with her – although we’re lucky because she sleeps for 12 hours.”
Right there? That’s the sign of a good man.
Stephen Curry
A few weeks ago, if you asked me who Stephen Curry was, I would most likely have answered, “James Bond’s new villain?” To be fair, I’m not all that up to date with my sports trivia. (Anytime I play Trivia Crack on my phone and the sports category pops up, I pray for a question like, “What equipment does baseball use?” or “What Olympic winter sport uses a snowboard?”)
But what a difference a couple of weeks and internet stalking make.
This past week, the Golden State Warrior point guard helped his team clinch the NBA final championship but it is his off court plays as a father that earned him credit on this list. Still not ringing a bell? Chances are you’ve seen this post game interview where his daughter, Riley, completely steals the show.
Look at him! He puts what I assume to be slap bracelet on her wrist while still answering the question. Does he break his concentration when she discovers the joys of a curtain and all it’s hiding glory? Nope. My favorite part? How the microphone keeps moving directions every which way but her way.
But what I love the most about the father and daughter duo? Look at those eyes and tell me they are not the most breathtaking irises you will ever see.
On a seperate note, when doing my “research” I discovered Ayseha Curry’s, Stephen’s wife, blog, Little Lights of Mine, which chronicles the lives of her family as well as her ah-mazing recipes. Watch a few episodes and feel your cheeks hurting from all the smiling that will ensue.
Justin Timberlake
Fans are interesting.
When a celebrity announces that he is going to be a proud papa, there are typically two very different reactions from fans. The first is jubilation, as if the fan herself (or even himself) is the reason why the celebrity is going to be a papa. They flood various social media sites with words of congratulations, images of flowers and storks, and fanart of the celebrity holding babies. Some even send out birth announcements. Not creepy at all. Hmmm.
And then, there’s those who feel that the world is ending, nothing makes sense anymore, and life is nothing but madness.
No other announcement of fatherhood sparked such a dichotomy of reactions than that of Justin Timberlake.

The following is my actual text message convo between me and my BFF and JT fanatic, Katie.
Katie: Justin and Jessica Biel had a baby.
Me: I saw that!
Katie: I’m going to need a minute. (Emojis of crying faces)
Me: Are you going to be okay?
Katie: …Someday.
Yes, Katie recovered. She’s now doing well and is now in the acceptance stage. It was a rough going at first, but she takes it one day at a time.

She even called his son, Silas, adorable. (She did say it through tears. Whether they were tears of joy or sorrow, I don’t know.)
Ryan Reynolds
There are absolutely no photos of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s daughter, James. And I have a theory as to why. Some may say it’s because they want the privacy of their daughter to be respected. Fair enough and rightly so. Others may say that the big reveal will be on Blake’s website, Preserve. Um, okay?
My theory? The baby will be so damn beautiful that upon seeing her, your face will literally melt off and all humanity will be destroyed. So, thank you, Reynolds family for saving the world.
But what makes Ryan Reynolds a hot dad? Sure it’s his face, his body, his ability to sing in falsetto and make it sound like sex on vinyl. But really, it’s his sense of humor about his daughter.
And then this Instagram photo is quite possibly the cutest candid ever.
My face hurts just from this. Can you imagine if we actually saw her?
Are there any celebrity dads you wish were your baby daddy? Go ahead and let us know! And Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing, loving, and wonderful fathers out there, including my own Dad!
