DROUGHTLANDER IS OVER YOU GUYS! From ALL the coverage leading up to the mid season premiere, our own Outlander coverage from this week so far and the actual showing of episode 109 TONIGHT, we’re going to be sick of Outlander again before you know it! You know what I’m most excited about? BLURTLANDER IS COMING BACK! Blurtlander actually rewatched some of the episodes from the first half of the season in preparation for the show’s comeback. He takes his job seriously. Also Beth threatened him.

Our night kicks off with our Crew (Me, Beth, Jamie and new pal @DougalsBeard (aka Karen) toasting with a glass of wine and a quick pow wow so that when we hit the black carpet our notebook of questions would have something other than just this sign for Tobias with Beth’s phone number:

Beth and I hit the carpet and immediately became bffs with a TV reporter for a Spanish language entertainment channel next to us because he was singing the theme song (Skye Boat Song) and we just had to sing a long. Beth joined him, expertly singing the words, while I sang “blah blah blah” to the tune and FORGOT to turn on the camera. I failed, you guys.

After the carpet, we ran into the theater, grabbed a bag of popcorn to share which I ate like a ravenous person who has never eaten before, totally missed the costume display (whoops) and took our seats.

We cannot wait for you to see this episode. There is so much to say, there are moments we cringed, closed our eyes and looked at each other in fear. And the reasons WHY will just have to wait until Hangoutlander (When? MONDAY 10 pm ET: http://bit.ly/hangoutlander109)

After the showing, moderator Alicia Quarles brought the cast on stage and somehow managed to pronounce everyone’s name wrong. She probably said Ron Moore’s name right, but I was laughing too hard at “Graham MacIntosh” to hear her.

Alicia asked one question per cast member. Nothing was very original, and, to be honest, how can the questions be? They have been asked EVERYTHING about this season and Book 1 by now. The Q&A didn’t bother me because I was there for drinking-Caitriona, hilarious-faces-Tobias. And, yes I’m going to say this, Fine–Looking-Sam-Heughan!

Our crew had an amazing time. We know there were some disappointed fans that didn’t get into the showing they were confirmed for (Oh yeah, there were two showings of the 1 hour long show that is airing on TV tonight.), and even fans who did were dissapointed at the lack-luster panel. I think that Starz throws AMAZING events centered on Fans. And because most of their events have been so kick-ass, there is high expectation for each event that follows to be better than the last.

This is how Caitriona feels about that:

We capped our night at a bar with friends and a couple people we’d like to be our friends then took a Gypsy Bus back to Jersey. BUT THERE’S MORE! The next day we got to do some special interviews we’ll be rolling out in the next week or so!
